Ashley has worked as a professional seamstress and costume designer for over a decade, in addition to running an online shop selling her handmade designs.
In 2017, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatments including a double mastectomy, reconstructive surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. She is now in remission.
